A thief burgled into a couple’s house who were getting ready to go to sleep. The wife heard a sound and guessed someone trying to enter the house. After sometime the sound stopped coming that indicated that the thief had entered the house. The couple thought of a plan. The husband told his wife that they would name their son ‘Rama’. Then he asked his wife how she would call her son if he was in the house. The wife called ‘Rama’ in a low pitch. When he asked if the son was in the backyard, the wife called ‘Rama’ a little louder. What if the son was outside the house, his wife called ‘Rama’ at her highest pitch. Rama, the kotwal, heard her voice. He rushed to the house and caught the thief. The man and his wife by their cleverness had saved themselves from being robbed.
