I visited my grandmother who lives in a village. I liked the village very much. Our ancestral house is built adjacent to a pond, and there is a big ground where one can see several animals grazing in the field. At noon, these animals could have shelter under the mango trees grown up around the pond. When I came back to my home, I made a drawing of what I had seen in the village and show it to the class. We use both past perfect (for the first action) and past simple (for the second action) in such sentences.
In the above sentence, Ananya’s education is the first action which took place before she joined the factory (next action).

The Rock Garden of Chandigarh is a sculpture garden in India. It is also known as Nek Chand Saini’s Rock Garden of Nathupur after its founder Nek Chand Saini. He was a government official, and started building the garden secretly in his spare time in 1957. It has spread over an area of 40 acres, and is completely built from industrial, home waste and discarded items.

The garden consists of man-made interlinked waterfalls and many other sculptures that have been made of scrap and other waste, such as bottles, glasses, bangles, tiles, ceramic pots, sinks, electrical waste, broken pipes, etc. He chose a gorge in a forest near Sukhna Lake for his work. Interestingly, he was able to hide it for 18 years before it was discovered by the authorities in 1976. One can see the concrete sculptures of dancers, musicians and animals if they visit the garden.

that period. The interest rate and the maturity date are predetermined. We get a secure and predictable way to grow our savings.

Recurring Deposit: A Recurring Deposit (RD) is a type of term deposit where we deposit a fixed amount of
