Addition: Addition is like putting things together to find out how many there are in total.
For example, if you have 2 apples and you get 3 more, you can add them together to find out that you now have 5 apples in total.
To add two different numbers, keep both of them in vertical column with its one’s place over each other and ten’s place over each other and hundred’s place in the similar manner. Then add. e.g.
Subtraction: Subtraction is like taking away or removing things to find out how many are left.
